Absolutely adorable!! About a salmon that was born prematurely and goes through all the same things that humans do in that situation. It touches on the thoughts and feelings parents have in this situation and the point of view of the child. It’s really a sweet book all about love and features a lot of the stages a family goes through only with salmon instead of humans... which I think is really cute. The text is simple and age appropriate and beautiful watercolor illustrations splash the whole book with color. Definitely worth picking up especially if you have had to deal with something like this in real life. I think it can be great way to offer insight and reassurance to a child in a fun way. Well done 👏

Omg's I love your book! So emotional...we lost our baby at 35 wks gestation, but we've kept his memory alive and the love we have for him by reading a book to our younger son. It's called 'Good night God'

Very sweet book and so touching for preemie moms. Brought it to the Nicu today to read to my miracle baby. You don’t often find books specifically dedicated to micro preemies so this was a welcome addition to our book collection. We loved it. I look forward to reading this to him for years to come.

I also had 28 week twins. To Look at them now 26 years later...they are strong, smart independent functioning members of society. Thank you GOD and wonderful NICU nurses, doctors and surgeons. I can't even grasp the concept of doing surgery on a baby who was a whole 1 pound and 10 ounces. That is the size of a PREGO spaghetti sauce jar. Life is good but, God is better.

My daughter premature at 3 lbs 2 oz. My granddaughter was 2 lbs 8 oz. Daughter died in car wreck at age 20. My granddaughter is now 26. A baby is a gift from God. God gives life at conception!!

A unique and endearing story
This is an awesome tale about a child born too early being told through the life of a salmon. A unique and endearing story that reaches out and touches the heart. Debra is a very caring mother and tells this story by using her real life experiences. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
